After shooting with my new Birger Mount on the R1MX for about 10 minutes everything stopped working. Nothing powers up and I have no access to Iris at all and no access to any of the features of the IMPERO that came with it.

We took the mount apart and reconnected it, nothing.

We changed out the batteries on the impero, nothing.

We have purchased a new lemo cable to try it out, nothing.

Despite three phone calls into Birger - we have not received a call back on how to troubleshoot the problem.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what this might be and how we can address fixing it?

Thanks in advance!

So initially you did have full stable control of Iris?

How are you powering the Birger mount - 4pin Lemo cable from bottom most port on Birger mount to Aux 12V on rear of R1MX?

Hopefully the Birger Mount was NOT powered while you were installing it as this will damage the Birger electronics such that it either fails completely or has very intermittent random Iris and focus changes.

Does the lens work on a Canon DSLR?
