Hi Guys,
This thread is probably a repeat BUT I am wondering about the lay of the land now. Here is my question to the community:
I have a photographer in the department I manage and he is stocked with an excellent selection of Canon glass. I have an excellent selection of Red glass for my Red One. Yep, here it comes... I would like to get a Birger system to make use of his glass. Birger lists the Canon starter kit and the PL lens mount accessory and I would guess both should be acquired? What is holding me back is a few threads I read a while back about the Birger damaging the Red and also comments on running foul of the Red warranty. Yes/No? Second question, is it easy to go back and fourth with the system between manufacturers or is it opening up the camera all the time? Last question: I will need to return the favor so he wants to try the Red glass on his 5D and 7D. Is there an adaptor for this too?
Thanks guys for taking a read.
Cheers!
