  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Faxed my order in on the last day of the first reservation period, before it was extended. No cc charged, no email reservation confirmation, no nothin'. Not even a smile.
 
Sounds like they need a person or two for office staff.

Eric, would you tell me if it's possible to change my order from nikon to Canon mount.
I am still waiting for the confirmation (Jan 2007).

Albert, if my memory serves me well, Erik has stated on more than one occasion that not only can you change your order from Nikon to Canon, but also take the Canon for now and return it for the Nikon if you still want it when it becomes available.

Per the initial post, the idea of this thread is to ONLY post ONE time your "I didn't get a confirmation for my order" info, so Erik can find it easily without sifting through extraneous posts. I will (and you should) only post other info on the other thread.

Since it is obvious that Erik at Birger is overwhelmed and hasn't finished the paperwork side of things, and there is no way he's going to be able to sort through 72 pages of the old reservations thread, I started a new thread specifically for those that sent in an order but HAVEN'T been billed OR confirmed - the (Birger "I didn't get a confirmation for my order yet thread") .

That way you will have a public record that you ordered it and I imagine Erik will honor the free bluetooth deal for you even if he doesn't have your fax or email. And he will have an easy way to find those since obviously he might not have paperwork or email on his end. And if you want to cancel or postpone, then I would suggest sending him an email AND posting on this (Birger "I didn't get a confirmation for my order yet thread") thread. Please don't put the gripes or other questions here. I'm not trying to stifle anyone's expression - just think those might as well stay on the original thread:

Again, please don't post anything here unless it is that you had faxed or emailed an order but didn't get any confirmation AND you didn't get billed a deposit on your credit card. If he billed your credit card he obviously got it and unless you want it cancelled now don't post here.

I know I'm being presumptuous a bit - I don't know the procedure for getting these things moderated or made a sticky - but if a moderator sees this please do whatever is appropriate. Thanks.

faxed an order 11/26/07 I didn't get a confirmation but I did get 2 separate cc charges in dec, one 12/18 for $290 and one 12/31 for $1160.

I thought this was funny too... Aqua politely reminded me that we should look through the "Birger "I didn't get a confirmation for my order yet thread" and assign confirmation numbers to any communications in that group if they were missing in the system.

Amy and I will be here on Saturday to get this email out, so we can enjoy the monday Memorial Day holiday that we celebrate here in the states.
 
I emailed my order form right before NAB... I recently called and confirmed that they do have me somewhere in the cue, but have not received any other confirmation... looking forward to it.
 
I believe I have emailed or PMed everbody that posted in this thread, that I did not find an order for in the system. I have reenabled PM on my account, so please contact me by PM or email if you do not receive a sales confirmaiotn in the next few hours. They are going out in about five minutes.

mounts have only gone out to beta testers, but so far the reports have been quite positive. The knobs are not shipping till after the mounts have gone out so no one's been able to test them.
