We are opening a public Beta of the stereo support for the Canon lens mount. A first mount can be enabled as a stereo master, and a second mount will slave whatever that mount does, whether controlled from the mount pushbuttons, Impero, or PC/MAC applications. See the following thread for this software release: http://reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?t=30790
This feature is separately licensed. All users that would like to join the Beta program will need to request a license file for a specific mount serial number. All customers that have purchased two mounts (and/or purchase a second mount) will be given this license file, and allowed to join the Beta group. Please send an email to asb (at) birger (dot) com to join the program. Customers will also need a third short accessory cable for the mount to mount communications (which is included in our Impero kit).
A this time we can only recomend the use of "L" series primes for stereo. We do not support offsets yet, so the collimation on both cameras needs to be spot on.
