We just wrapped a week long shoot, with one of my favorite cinematographers Bill Pope, ASC. Who has photographed some of the most technical challenging movies, such as:

This was a week long shoot, for UPS using 3 RED Camera's.

When The Spirit comes out tomorrow, look for all of the lovely slow motion footage captured on the Phantom HD. They had a Phantom for the entire run of the production, and this was before CineMags were available. I understand it looks lovely. I believe there's an article coming soon in American Cinematographer.

Now I want to see this movie just to see how they used the Phantom. I've heard the movie is one of the worst films this year...just what I've heard.

It seems perhaps during the slow down in Features, many DPs are taking this opportunity to try out the RED on other projects. When things ramp up again, look out!
