Big shout out to the Red Team

Just wanted to extend a big heartfelt thanks to Michael Keegan, and our Bomb Squad rep Dan Baum at Red, for sorting out a perplexing kink or two, we received our Epic X, S/N 234, on time for a big shoot, intact, as advertised, all bits and pieces accounted for. Thanks guys, customer service like that is very rare to come by, you guys rock!

Must also say, the Red packaging is gorgeous, way better than any Japanese product I've ever bought, and sooo much sexier than the Apple stuff. Kudos to that design team as well.

To work, to work, not a moment to lose, this Epic has places to go and people to meet! Woohoo!!!

I have yet to become an official RED product owner, but I haven't been this excited about a product OR company since I built my Linkwitz Orions and Crossover back on 2000. There is a curtain X-factor about RED and its products I have yet fathom, but I look forward getting on the Forum everyday and being a part of a community that is sincerely "involved". Its a rare thing and it may only come along once or twice in a lifetime, its hard to explain, but I am thankful everyday that I found RED and that it it is run by such an incredible team. Thanks Guys.

I really have to say, the Red community here is one of the most generous and forthcoming group of people I've ever met. Problem? Questions? All you need do is ask, so many folks here, high-end tech and artistic pros of every description, hugely talented people, of every and any persuasion, ready and willing to help. That's just not normal. Except here.

Feel really special to be a part of all this. Dunking my Epic in a very special, salty, biblical desert ocean very soon, will post videos and pics as they become available.

Looking forward to shooting the big blue shark deeps at Osprey Reef, and the greater Coral Sea, with you and your 3D team, very exciting stuff, feel like a little kid in a candy store just thinking about it. About to embark on the whole rEVO RB thing. No bubbles, will travel.

I would still look at the ISC Meg or the new Pathfinder. Yes the Coral see beckons us hopefully we will have all the bits for our DEEP ATOM in time.
