  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Beware: Camera 'protection' end cap damaged my connector .

I bought the RED plastic end cap to keep the rear connector of the camera safe, but it ended up catching a pin and bent it down!
The way this end cap works is that it friction fits in the connector at the back. It does not use the A-mount to attach . The plastic part that slides into the rear connector has edges that are too square.
If you have one of these, please be aware of the possible danger.
Ironic that my good intentions for shielding it against damage did the exact opposite!

My camera is at RED service right now, they are looking into it.

I went with the DSMC TACTICAL for both protection and power (and hopefully more).

I know its overkill for protection but before that, I was so scared to break something back there.

Does that protect the rear connector area ?

Just stay away from the plastic rear module cap.
