I was just going to say that I've just realized that the problem was that the phantom censorer probably doesn't know or appreciate the difference between Betacam and Betamax!

The word he should have used was "PixelVision":001_cool:

I saw a gig offering online just the other day that stressed "must have betacam experience!"
I laughed. I havn't seen any recient posts in need of editors with linear experience.

Linear editing can still be faster than nonlinear in some cases - the good thing is, every time you find a shot and make a cut, it's on your master tape already...

...haven't done any linear editing in about ten years though ,-)
