  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Beta Build 16 now available...

You guys never mentioned the neat EVF option to make adjustments on the fly with the big EVF knob...very sweet!!!

Shutter
Audio
ISO
etc

Where/How do we program the A B C and other body buttons?

Yes this is significant, especially for audio. In earlier versions you could not adjust the levels while seeing the levels they were on different menu pages... now you can monitor and tweak while being hand held if need be.
Of course it is nice to be able to adjust a bunch of things from that button - but audio was very difficult before.

RED Alert! will be out in the next few hours

kylemallory: *over* the coming months, we don't have the capacity to release everything at the same day

I'm not saying *until* a couple of months down the line. It will be spread out as stuff becomes ready.

great,

Can't wait to see some of the first shots I have recorded in REDSpace.

I am sure you are staggering this release based on the server overload.

Great work. Great news. Everything looks great so far.

Thanks to the whole team.

This is a bit different, there is a display on the left side of the EVF and LCD. When you push the large button on the EVF it brings up a row of buttons:
INT
CH1
CH2
SHU
VAR
ISO
OFF

You can select these options and quickly adjust them by simply rotating the EVF knob.

When we play the new B16 with Quicktime how does it do the debayering? Is it High Quality?

I also noticed that the new Qucktime plugin renders B15 clips differently now. Not only the white point but also the 'texture'...

Hmm can't wait for redalert now...
