  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

BeSteady FOUR Thread

Any update on shipping? We haven't had a proper update in probably about a month. Now the NAB is over, it would be nice to hear about when the next shipment may go out. I don't why it takes months to prepare half a dozen or so units. Come on, update, snap snap.

it's been a while indeed.
Hope the NAB went ok and you had a lot of demands.

It would be useful to know how much units you can deliver per week/month ?

I personnaly can't wait a lot more. If it doesn't ship by the end of May, I will have to buy an Helix, and ask for a refund. I can't afford to loose another season to rental.

Well I'm not in a hurry and everyone asking arefund shouldn't be.
They need to secure their finances first, and then start a refund series once they has..

But ACR, I would totally prefere to receive my unit before the end of may. That is still a month and a half ahead.
I'm pretty sure building and testing batches of 5 per week is very doable.

I'm hoping NAB went well. Still hoping for the best.

Some BTS shots we put the BS4 through today, worked very well :)

Peter, It was good to meet you Maks, and Mike at NAB. Playing with the Beast was a fun experience. I'm truly looking forward to receiving mine, hopefully in good time to get some use out of it this season. I hope this Thursday posting will be a trend and it will continue every Thursday regardless of progress made on units being built. I think it will be a good thing for people to hear from you guys at least once a week or more if the need arrises. Maybe you can tell us more about the grip since you released it on Instagram. In fact, maybe you might consider releasing news here first on advanced features and other things you guys are planning ... just a suggestion.

Anyway looking forward to your next post.

Hello Piotr,

i have to ask again! When are you planing to refund us the paid amount?

We really need to know who is in charge of ACR. How long do we need to wait to get the refund!!!

you are not answering my emails. My lawyer has tried to make contact whit you without success.

We are exploring the possibility of block sales in the European area. Such companies that have demonstrated over time a high degree of irresponsibility should not be operating.

Please respond to the request from my lawyer.

While I share frustration at the slow pace of resolution, I remind that unlike the ViewFactor situation, these guys have demonstrated that they are steadily making progress on shipping units. I expect they need to get their business healthy before being capable of resolving whatever debt that they have incurred from cancelled units. This is no small challenge, and many would have taken the easy way out through bankruptcy or outright default. Threatening to interfere with their business only risks undermining the potential for a positive outcome in my opinion - I understand the emotion, but I caution against this direction.

I'm pretty sure this could have been resolved through a more rational way. However not receive any response from ACR has been deadly

We will not end the process with our lawyer until we have a refund or until they are out of market (EU)

I absolutely agree with Tim, forcing them out of sales won´t do good for anybody. BeSteady/ACR has proofen that they are able to build a high quality product which works and is up to par or even better then the marked leader. Give them time to sell some units and generate cash flow, or reconsider if you want to take delivery of the gimbal, working since 2 weeks with it i have to say it was worth the many nd the wait.

Looking at this from a different point of view

I have to agree with Tim, ACR (formally Besteady) has demonstrated a willingness to continue their business. From What I understand there was a huge internal conflict that pushed them into the situation we are all in. I can tell you they are working to rectify the situation. Suppliers have to be paid, gimbals have to be made, refunds have to be issued. I can't speak for ACR but to me its pretty obvious if they had no intentions of building gimbals or issuing refunds they would have disappeared a long time ago.

I'm sure you will get your refund as I am sure we will all get our gimbals for those who are sticking it out. Interfering with their potential to make an income means everyone looses, no gimbals, no refunds. How much is your lawyer costing you? You might want to consider that cost against your gain. Anyway just saying.

Don't be an ASS you are not the only one with money invested in this!! Of course I mean that with respect.

I wanted to retake the order, but ACR never answered any of my emails.

For this reason and as a last resort we went to a lawyer. He could not make any kind of contact with ACR.

For this reason it being analyzed the possibility of taking ACR out of the market.

The problem is that Besteady no longer exists. For this reason, they are not obliged to refund the money

This Thread is in Jeopardy (oh no :( )

Right! I see where you are going with this (I get it).

If ACR is blocked from selling gimbals I and countless others loose their investment will you then reimburse me my 5K+ USD? I will hold you personally responsible if this company fails. That being said I'm not sure what to tell you other than be a bit more patient. It's almost 5 pm in Poland, have you tried Skype?
