  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

BeSteady FOUR Thread

I had a nice talk to Michael a few days ago, talking about his impression about the BS4.
This conversation really cheered me up, lots of good things i heard from him.
Now i hope that shipping can resemble and we see more units trickling out to users.
Please BeSteady, update us with the planned schedule.

Sorry for the free bump, but I would like some updates about delivery schedule.
I know the returned unit are working and coming back to their owner, but being in the besteady owner group on Facebook and seeing all these posts had me concerned.

We really need an update, on schedule, on parts, on production. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy the units are working, but now that every problems are sorted out.
We should have some new units sent to their owners.

Thanks for the head up Rion.
It's definitely time for BeSteady to make an announcement about what's up.
If Reduser is not the place for that for different reason, their forum is still up and waiting for updates.
 
We knew that Pro stepped down from his position a while ago. Since Piotr is still with the company, I won't worry that much at the moment.

Rion doesn't refer to Prokopi but to Jacek Iwaniec.
 
Keeping the faith, but a shipping update would be reassuring, even if it's still subject to change.

I have been monitoring Besteady's financials and document since joining the group buy. I didn't post about there missed filing because I did not want to start unnecessary worrying about the company. Pro came out and announced he was leaving the company, so we were all aware of it. This I feel is very significant and since Besteady hasn't mentioned anything I felt everyone involved should know.

Hello Guys,

we have been working hard on FOUR`s. Thanks to Michael Kromschroeder we have found some minor problems - many thanks to him for his technical expertise and help. I will post more technical information from the engineering team about the details of what was done in next week.

Right now we are waiting for mass produced radiators and cable plugs, thanks to tehem building new units will go much faster.

I will be updating the shipping schedule in next week - I will be contacting everyone in group buy during that time to be absolutely certain it is up to date.

I was sepaking with Max on mobile - he is in CNC facility right now but he asked me to inform you all that he will be posting a big update later today.

We are going in right direction please believe me. There will be much more good signs in upcoming days.

Thanks for the update Peter! It's always good to hear from you, no matter how much info you might have for us.
 
FYI, if you are receiving your BS4 back from repairs, at least in the US you may be able to dispute any duty charge that DHL wants you to pay. I sent them the receipt from October's customs and they waived it. Saves you about $150 bucks!
 
Hi Everyone,

Mr. Rion Gonzales has accurately acknowledged the leaving of Jack Iwaniec from the company's managing position. This is the outcome of matters which have been in the loop for the recent months.

Jack was a BeSteady director from the very beginning of our existence. However, since September 2014, he was not present in our company and did not perform any duties in favor of our projects. It was a natural outcome for him to part ways with us and resign from the position. However, he had a great part in developing our products and we would like to thank for the time he was with us.

As of this moment the only managing director in the company is the author of this words - me, Maksym Salamonowicz. I am not going to abandon this ship and my primary aim is to deliver the product and improve the way the company runs. Some of you are in direct contact with me - you know, that I still have a lot to do and a lot on my mind. Nevertheless, the most important fact is that we currently follow the right direction and constantly focus on our targets. Our team consists of 21 people as of this day – more than half of which works in the HQ (the main office and the assembly). It may seem a lot but please remember that despite the assembly of the devices we do the software coding on our own (the BeSteady Manager, BeSteady FOUR OnBoard Manager etc), we do the CNC of the aluminum elements and so on. Each and every one of us is deeply committed towards our projects and does not go low even during the overtime hours.

Everyone waiting for or already owning a BeSteady FOUR knows, that a lot of time passed since last September. We devoted this time towards getting our company away from the edge. I am not the one to judge if all this was successful - we still have many devices to deliver, months of hard and intensified work await ahead. Thanks to the harmonious and experienced team and very kind people from the outside, who do not seize to support us, we will achieve our objectives.

In terms of technical stuff - a very helpful and favorable feedback from our users allows us to enhance the BeSteady FOUR faster than I ever expected. The creativity and enthusiasm of so many people enables us to prepare solutions which will ease your life on filming sets. I am pretty sure you will have the chance to upgrade your FOUR firmware many times in the coming weeks with some great results.

The situation of the company is very difficult. The lack of proper liquidity prevents us from quick and effective performance. At the moment we are at the end of a very long and wide curve and given the chances and circumstances we will direct ourselves towards the right tracks.

The coming month will be a period of positive events and news, which will change our picture, the way the market sees us. I cannot share everything with you right now and will definitely share the good stuff as soon as it becomes settled and unquestionable. Stay tuned!

The Red Users will be notified about the planned shipping times next week. Peter will remain in touch with you.

PS BeSteady PLUS upgrade are planned to be resumed next week. Mike will get back in touch with those involved.
PS2 An adapter for JIB / MR for the BeSteady FOUR is in the prototype phase. The results of our work will be published soon.
