  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Thanks for the update Peter, any other gimbals shipping soon? Or are you guys maybe waiting field/user tests from Carey before proceeding with shipping of other units? Happy Holidays.

This ship is already very late to dock amidst rough water...et's keep it light and cheerful shall we?

Letus Helix is the only gimbal I'm aware of that powers camera and gimbal simultaneously. I've not yet tested adding FIZ / and Video TX to the load however. 5A is a lot of A.

I will note that I have read many references to external solutions - on belts, V-Lock or AB mounted behind or on the side - and a lot of talk about flexible power cables needed to make theirs work…

We have already had an entire thread deleted/wiped fully, and want this to stay, as it's our visible 'easy access' thread for Group Buyers and Besteady themselves.

Therefore, at the moment, we use as an info resource and keep noise to a minimum, as we have a Friendly Moderator watching :)

ok then sorry guys, I ddnt know a simple question of concern can really boost anything like that, but so to speak I will now erase my questions if thats can smooth up things.

Sorry for the tightrope. But it s a tight rope.

I suggest any direct feature/complaint issues are taken directly with BeSteady.
This is not a venting place now.

I do appreciate the updates from BeSteady quite a lot.
And appreciate the updates from people who get theirs.

It can be used to solve practice issues to get the ship ashore.

But if this thread dissolves like the old one, we will not host it here.

Hello Everyone,


It's the end of the year in front of us. We know that we didn't deliver all units in time and we can't stress how bad it feels for us but we can tell that things are beginning to look better. We have overcome most of our problems so production will be moving forward in the upcoming year. The assembly team will have a holidays break, but the aluminium parts and electronics will still be made - they will be waiting for the rested assembly team to be put together in January. I will update the shipping list in 2015.


We know that there were difficult times on that road, but we are almost at finish so please stay with us a bit longer. You will receive your units as promised!


We would like to wish all of you some great Holidays and a wonderful New Year.
