A lot of you have been waiting for our revolutionary gimbal to hit the market and we are now happy to announce our dealer network is ready to take pre-orders. There are a lot of gimbals emerging with extremely bold claims but we can confidently say that after months of development we can offer the most sophisticated solution on the market. When we say the BS4 is the most precise and responsive stabiliser available, we mean it.

We wanted to outline exactly what makes the BeSteady Four so awesome. No marketing fluff. Just the facts.

  • Each component has been custom designed and precision manufactured to very strict specifications. We have our own CNC facility and machine park and we don't use a single off the shelf element.
  • Our electronics and software have also benefited from the same attention to detail and a completely custom approach to design. We are not using standard AlexMos boards or variants. It is a completely custom design implementing powerful 32-bit ARM processors at it's core.
  • The BS4 is currently the only stabiliser on the market to implement a hybrid solution which pairs dual on-board IMU sensors and individual encoders enclosed in each motor. This offers super precise stabilisation, accurate to 0.2 degrees.
  • Our unique 'Predictive Motion' technology is an original innovation in camera stabilisation. A sophisticated algorithm capable of thousands of calculations a second which measure previous accelerometer movements in order to predict upcoming trajectories. This result is incredibly accurate stabilisation, 10 times more accurate than any alternative on the market. This means smooth stabilisation even when using long lenses or on rough terrain.
  • DTAP connection and internal power regulating electronics allows you to use 3rd party power solutions while still achieving consistently high performance.
  • Auto power tuning is allows users to quickly and simply calibrate their rig at the click of a button. That means no more problems picking the right settings for your rig.
  • Highly developed operating modes including inverted mode (our own innovation now imitated by other gimbals) and follow mode. Our latest follow mode is customisable and more organic and natural than ever before.
  • A super rigid frame designed to perform under incredibly stress. The carbon fibre used in the BeSteady Four has been custom manufactured to exacting specifications and combined with our unique double-barrel design this results in a durable frame structure.
  • There is a variety of aircraft/spacecraft grade aluminium on the market. All varying in quality. We have opted for superior quality Aluminium 7075 for all critical elements and a technical anode for the most scratch proof surface possible.
  • A custom user interface has been designed with filmmakers in mind. It's incredibly flexible, allowing a high level of customisation while being very simple to use.
  • Our field testing has been completed in collaboration with film makers and with a variety of cameras, including the Sony F55, Red Epic, Scarlett, Canon C100/C300/C500 and Black Magic 4k Cinema camera.
  • It looks gorgeous. Well, we think so! We've spent time and energy making sure the BeSteady Four looks as good as it performs.

You can check out the dealers page on our website to find your local stockist and pre-order. If you have any questions from me or Peter an e-mail on:

Glad I was part of the GB that helped mould the BS4 into what it is today.

I'm sure you're onto a winner, and it's good to have a dealer network too, always a sign of a product that people have confidence in :)

Thanks Andy. We're so privileged to have collaborated with the RedUser community and really excited to be getting it into your hands. The BeSteady Four wouldn't be the stabiliser it is today without the input we received throughout the group buy.

We'll also be at NAB this year alongside Action products for those of you that want to come check us out.

Oh I want one bad. where do we go to check preorders again? Think i missed that info. sorry.

Any updates on the Action Products Raptor connector?

Have fun at NAB.

Exactly, Very \happy I put these two companies in contact with each other and persuaded them to make the adapter. Will it ship with my kit?

Thank you very much

Fury

We're continuing to work with Action Products but we have no new announcements for the adapter except that we have opted to not just create a simple connector. Instead we're aiming for a much more versatile solution to combine our rig with the Raptor arm. Grill us at NAB for more info!

LOL - well, sounds good... I think we should have a special discount for all joint Raptor and Besteady4 group buyers! :)

Or at least all B4 buyers lol. We own a Proline Raven Steadicam & are hopeful the connection will work with our rig as well. Been wondering if anyone can speak to whether the B4 has gps? And I f not I'm curious about the issues gps is supposed to address. Also curious about how the current delivery timeline is coming ;)

Great work...looking forward.
