I just got back from three days of shooting out in the baking heatwave blasting the Pacific Northwest and northern California. Long days on cattle ranches with Komodo and it performed flawlessly. However, there is so much dust all over everywhere (they are in a massive drought) that I can't decide on the best way to clean it. Compressed air? Something else? Of course the monitor, the lenses and all else are super dirty. Anybody got any good solutions?

I would always try to take off as much dirt and dust by wiping, brushing or vacuuming before blowing canned air. You risk moving dust further inside the camera/lens.
Battery powered hand vacuum cleaners are less powerful and probably safer, otherwise put the camera in a big freezer bag and gaffa the vacuum cleaners hose to the bag. I got a lot of dust (not everything) back out of a lens afterclose up filming of watch polishing.
