Best V Mount Batteries for Red One MX

Hi all,

First time posting on here, just got "activated" today but have been lurking for a good few months.

I am looking for suggestions for good v mount batteries to power my MX set up. Currently I only have 1 Hawkwoods 100W and that is giving me around 25mins maybe more. - Never really timed it!

My setup is currently the CF cards (16gb) with either the monitor or EVF depending on what I am shooting with phantom power for a shotgun mic.

I am based in the UK and want to do a bit of wildlife filmmaking, so I need enough power on standby. Also, all my work is in the UK, so I am able to use the bigger power batteries.

Any suggestions would be great, and I look forward to talking with you all more and I can now comment!

As many Watt hours as you can find! These cameras are not energy efficient. I’m not sure how mobile you need to be but one of those large power supplies made by AB or a dual battery plate that allows you to hit swap may allow you to standby for extended periods.

Thank you for the comments so far, I will look into Blueshape and see what options they have.

I am just looking for good, high watt V mounts for some run and gun stuff too.
