best stock footage sites for selling Red footage

[Rob Ruffo]

Getty? Corbis? Anybody making OK money with this? any recommendations?

Thank you all in advance.

[Steve Gibby]

I recommend Artbeats...

Making OK money? Yup...

Stock won't necessarily be the crown jewel of anybody's business plan, but the most valuable asset any sized production entity owns is the top-quality footage it owns the copyright to. The concept is to leverage that footage out to be an evergreen, renewing resource...in other words put it to work for you, rather than have it just sitting there in your library or archives.

Thanks for the reply Steve! BTW - You have some beautiful work. If you make money with it you deserve it.

We have hours and hours of release-form cleared urban lifestyle footage that if on the editing floor of a project we are co-producing. I see the wisdom of what you say.

So, not Getty? Why not Getty?
