Does anybody know who would have the best selection of LCD Monitor Shades/Hoods?

Thanks

Hoodman now makes specific monitor hoods for the RED 5.6" & 7" LCDs. They also make them for just about everything else. Available from Abel.

We have thousands of products and many of them have not made it to the website yet, but we're working on it!

Catherine, looks like FilmTools has to update their website too! I have a Hoodman H-R7 (for the 7") and a Hoodman H-R5.6 (for the 5.6") sitting on my desk at this moment. They work fine, do not interfere with the buttons on the LCDs, strap on quickly and will fit over an plexi cover one might choose to put on top of the screen. And they're in a nice black with red trim design that compliments the camera. I'll find out prices tomorrow.

In answer to a question posed privately, these new Hoodmens use a pair of nylon straps to hold onto the monitor, not Velcro. For anyone who has ever dealt with this they know that the straps are a vastly better solution. The straps are designed to not interfere with the buttons and mounting points on the monitors.

I can't shoot without my Hoodman!!!! However, I have the Velcro version which is not good from a mounting standpoint. In fact, you can't take it off without pulling the velcro off so I have to store the monitor with the hoodman on.

Get the new one it is a must have for all LCD users!!!
