BEST PROMPTER APP FOR IPAD?

[Nick Morrison]

Hey everyone, quick question.

For smaller jobs, what's everyone's favorite prompter app for Ipad?

We've had success with this Ikan prompter

And though the Ikan app is fine, def curious if some have had success with other Ipad prompter software that may be easier/more streamlined.

thanks!!

I think there is one called smart prompter that moves automatically in cadence with the actors speaking speed. Quite impressive!

Yes sir! Used this and it's amazing. Talent can go at whatever speed they want. Way better success rate at nailing it the first time.

It's called PromptSmart

Hi Bob,

Are there any improvements in the application of this prompter? Do you have any advice on shade/mounting for the iPad?

Thank you very much

The days of bulky prompters are done. The iPad changed everything, and now with killer apps like promptersmart, it's so simple. Years ago I got the iPad promoter from here: http://www.onetakeonly.com/OneTakeOnly/Pad_Prompter.html

It small enough to take anywhere and still works great after 4 years.
