  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Best places to post Casting Calls?

I don't know about best place but www.zoetrope.com "The Virtual Studio" "Actors Building" forum. They also have headshots and CVs there. You have to join up to participate.

There is also www.indieclub.com which has a posting board for casting, requests for composers and the like. You also have to join up to participate but existing posts are readable without log-in.

Ha ha, even so we have been getting blasted by emails responses to out Casting calls, I have been thinking about posting this same questions... Thanks Chris.... ;)

However, I'll also be visiting various Cities in different countries, to host a CASTING there, which IMO is really still the best way to get what you need, if budget allows for it.

Thanks much, awesome stuff!

This is for our Louisiana short, filming in June. We will do a local casting session in a few weeks, so I'm hoping to have the first round lined up in time for that.

By the way, here is the FaceBook Page for our little film: http://www.facebook.com/AManOfLimitedEmotionalMeans

Shoot was canceled yesterday, so I stayed home and played with B-Roll for titles. Fun with the Epic at 96fps on the Cineslider with Oracle controller.
