Hello REDUSERs,

I have to make an investment in ND filters, because my old Genustech ND Vari filter has started changing colours, and making some blur. I am very annoyed with this and I have lost some shots in a recent short movie for the color of this ND.

I have the difficult decision between internal Kippertie ND (They seem to work well, but very expensive because you have to buy the whole set, and not future proof, because if I change my scarlet in a future they will not work), Wooden Camera Zip Box + 4X5,65 Glass (I have doubts between tiffen and scheneider) or a normal ND not variable circular ring for the lens (Budget and lightweight).

I have been reading about the Wooden Camera Zip Box as a good option, but other users have said that it is not secure and sometimes don't grip very well the lens.

I don't like classic matte boxes because you have to use rails, and support, and I like shooting as light as possible always.

Any recommendation or advice will be welcome :)

Julen,

This would be strictly for your DSLR lenses.

- Lee filter foundation kit (you need step up/down rings for various lens diameters)
- you can buy 4mm adaptor to mix and match 4x4, 4x5,66x4mm glass
- Lee filter 4x4 proIRND... it's only 2mm thick

this thing is ridiculously light
