Looking for any knowledge or insight on your experiences with the RED and Motion Control Systems
The main systems we are looking at are
Camblock
Ditogear
Kessler Cinedrive
Dynamic Perception
Varizoom

What are the pros and cons that you've noticed with some of these systems?
Are there any weight limitations that need to be taken into account?
If price is factored out, are there any systems that are far better than others?
Which company has the best customer support?
Which system has the best software?
Which system is the smoothest?
Does it play well with other devices?
Does the Dragon software affect programming or the system software in any way?

We want to easily be able to travel with our system and up to a 50 ft track.

Thank you for your input.

I own the DitoGear OmniSlider, and OmniHead... You are definitely not going to get 50 feet of track out of this guy though, so it may rule it out for you. I can only talk about DitoGear as I have not used any of the others.

Pros:
Fairly easy to operate, though you will have to figure out specific tasks on your own doing testing - i.e. what is the best shutter speed/playback speed for time-lapse, once you have programmed the move, etc..

It is nice to be able to "record" a move in realtime, and be able to play it back in "slow motion" for time-lapse.

Ive used CineDrive with Dragon stopmotion software, never had a problem. About 50ft of track check the shuttlePod. As far as I know the only limitation is the belt. Customer suport wise thos guys are 100% there. Their software guy is even avalible whenever he has facebook :)
system works really solid and is really modular so you just get what you need...
my experiance is 100% Kessler!
