Hiya,
What is the best monitor for diving with Raptor. My first thought would be SmallHD 503 since it has 2200 nits.
However they are very hard to get hold of.
I have been told that the Nina V is good and can trigger record. Is this correct that it can trigger record? What is cool you could have the camera a few meters away and trigger from the monitor. That is if it works. One downside is that its only 1000 nits.

Best,
Andreas

What housing do you have? I use a 502b with Nauticam, have a custom 6” extended hood to press my mask against and cut out all light. All functions work fine, never struggled with brightness or lack thereof.

My only experience with Atomos was cracking screens with the sticks on a shogun, was early days of replicating the finger touch with those little sticks and I was no doubt pressing way harder than I should have been

Hiya Mark.
Have not gotten a house yet. But is planning to get Nauticam Raptor housing. Just specing out the list. My plan was to get the smallHD house for it. Custom hood sounds clever.

Btw, planning to get the WACP-2 together with EF 16-35 f2.8III, then the largest glass dome to use with both EF16
-35 and Canon EF24-70 f2.8 II.
Also thought I would get the Canon EF100 macro port.
And 2 Keldan 8X lights.
Seems like a good setup?
With time I would probably get their custom macro setup.

First thing we plan on filming are turtles here in Cyprus. Plan on both snorkling and diving with the setup.
Cheers,
Andreas
