Primarily a dslr shooter and need help with determining depth of field, and crop angles for various lenses.

Has anyone used either of these or might possibly suggest an alternative?

Sunseeker is great (tracks the sun). I use it all the time.

SMAPP - use their gear list for packing all of my crap

Snapseed - Ok this is not necessarily for cinematographers, but it's frankly the best, free, photo editing app out there

David's pcam is the best. And the rtemis director viewfinder is a good tool. I know that the Artemis people have their Greg Toland program but it is a ripoff of David's pcam. David worked for years giving pcam away for free to all of us DPs and now he deserves some payback.... I rest my rep on his program.

I Always have pcam installed. It's great but for me it still misses a few setting possibilities and I don't care for the look. But it gets the job done. It's my go to tool when shooting
