Best IR ND combo filter ?

[Michael Totten]

I'm looking for both a 1.2 IR ND and a 1.5 IR ND. 4X5
I've used Schneider and had no problems... but before I buy I thought I'd check in what others think.

thanks in advance.

I own both Pancro and Formatt IR+ND filters... It's a toss-up between which is better, as you can already see from the responses thus far. I've found Formatt to be more readily available to purchase and at the time I bought, they had more ND strengths. Filmtools and Abelcine usually have good prices too, give them a call. I've also tried Tiffen and Schneider and have better results with the Formatt and Pancro IR filters.
