go ARRI. bite the bullet and go for the gold.

I picked up a ff-2 both wheels (ff4 knobs) for 1500.. best 1500 spent

I have been using the Older Chrosziel Studio follow focus......It works fine on the RRP's, i tried it out last week, plenty of clearance, all gears mesh nicely with the lenses.
Look around on ebay or second hand resellers.....its a damn good follow focus for the money.....i paid $1600AUD for mine......thats about $2.50USD.....:smile5:

Well certainly any that have fat focus gears! I don't feel that I can fairly or accurately comment without doing some testing of my own. I'm a guy who generally likes to mount the focus gear underneath the lens pushing up. Clear view and extra support. I don't know if that is realistically possible with the RPPs or not. But in theory it would likely help with this gear channel mount/dismount issue.
