So first of all, forgive me for the redundancy of this post if this has already been addressed, I tried to look around before posting. We just upgraded to epic from our scarlet (yay!) and I'm wondering what the best practice is for shifting between framerates or speeds in post. For example, to get that michael bay effect of starting a shot at full speed and mid shot slowing down to 120fps, or even starting the shot 3 times as fast as normal 24fps and slowing down to 120fps etc. Im using premiere, and after effects for post stuff. Just wondering how different people achieve this themselves.

Other questions about shooting higher frame rates
Can you manually decrease the redcode compression? its highlighted yellow at 4kHD 119.88fps and wont go any lower than 10:1 (trying to stick with 8:1)
and is there a way to see your source input framerate? for instance, when i shoot 119.88 fps the meta data in redcine will still say 23.96 as my time base, but doesnt show the input frame rate anywhere.

Thanks!
caleb
