I looking for a high quality, light weight and daylight use bright monitor. Anyone have experience with:
the Marshall V-LCD651STX-3GSDI?

The current Marshall HDMI 5" monitor I have doesn't seem to display the menu dynamically - I see the options, but they don't highlight was I choose options. Also, not really bright enough.

Would like to stay below $2K

Funy - just purchased the TVlogic 7" about 30 minutes ago. I received your wisdom via your telepathic 5G network. Careful with that brain - don't use for evil

Love the TVlogic loop thru feature. Would love for RED to do same on EVF and Touchscreen

Small HD is nice too, but a bit on the warm side of color.

in any case -> make sure to get a sun-hood or sun-cover for outside work...
we've got good experience with various TVlogic models (SDI).

I believe the TV Logic and the SmallHD use the same 5.6" panel.

yes, the exact same panel. Firmware is different so I'm sure an upgrade down the road could easily fix the color issue. Are you really using the monitor to judge color/exposure anyways? Thats what the in camera meters are for. For an AC all you need is a high res monitor to pull accurate focus.

I've run my TV logic 5.6 5x a week for 8 months straight. Love everything about it. Rivals my Astro...

Is anybody powering the TV Logic with non-D-tap batteries? What are you using, and how long do they last?

Hey David
We use a Panasonic Batt plate for powering our T.v. Logic. It works well and gives us about an hour. We also used the canon plate but it only powered it for about a half hour.
