I run my Panasonic camera with their gold mount batteries, and they've worked great for 3 years.
I was planning on getting Anton Bauer's battery plate for the Epic when my camera ships. ( http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/817356-REG/Anton_Bauer_QRC_EPIC_QRC_EPIC_Gold_Mount.html )
...and run it on my current stash of B4B batteries.
Our local rental house runs all their RED cameras on gold-mount batteries. Not B4B brand, but genuine Anto Bauers (which are quite over-priced).
Now you guys are making me think twice. I'll let you know how it works out.
