Just thought I'd share something that I shot on RED a few months ago... music video for dutch techno artist Benjamin Bates. Directed by Joey L, DP'ed by myself and starring Asia the tiger. :-) Build 13, I believe.

There is also a silly little behind the scenes thingy that Joey put together here:

Nice one! Like the behind the scenes too... 7% of the town is here... :)
What was the name of the other tigress?

nice one häakon - looks cinematic - well, apart from the shot at 2:13. guess you couldn't have scheduled that at another time of day?
nice control over the shadows over all. out of focus stuff blends in nicely - intended or not...
i'd say you nailed that one.

Thanks for the comments, guys. Some of the out of focus stuff was not my preference, but as a DP, I have complete respect for the director's vision and wishes and this was the cut that Joey believed in. To be fair, he took about 1 3/4 of my two cents on the matter so I cannot complain. He also had some great ideas for shots and coloring that I wouldn't have done on my own, so there's no question that this became more than the sum of the parts. Plus, he's a good friend and life/friendships/relationships are all about compromise. :-)

Tigress is Terra Clarke; not only is she stunningly beautiful, but one of the nicest girls I've ever met. You can check out her myspace here: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=364439531

The desert was brutal; pretty much every one of our cars got stuck at some point, and hauling that dolly across the sand took several hours. But the dunes sure are purty!!
