Can everyone publish their benchmark testing for the RR transcodes?

Answering:

Duration of source / frame size / frame rate.

Destination Codec.

All System Specs. Hardware and Software

& Time for Completion of transcode. Is it near realtime transcoding or not?

Ideally It'd be nice to see:

2 hours of RAW 4k at 23.98 export to 1920x1080 23.98 Prores HQ Using a One light via Redcine X.

8 Core MAC DESKTOP 3.0GHZ 6GB RAM READ/WRITE OVER RAID 5,0

Duration 2.5 Hours.

And any other bugs, snafus, shortcuts, tricks.

Many Thanks.

We are still working on complete timing tables, but on a PC using MetaFuze on RED ROCKET (still in alpha in-house) to DNxHD we are seeing ,6x real time. Compared to software only of full debayer, 4K, this represents an 800% increase in efficiency. I post these as an example of the power of the card itself.

I will be working on some timings here for both DNxHD and ProRes on a Mac to see what I get.

Thanks Michael! It will be interesting to see those results as well as any others posting here...

Out of curiosity. what are your PC's specs?
