Anyone on here ever try Bebob V-Mounts from Germany? On paper, sounds good - Cells from Japan and made in Germany. I definitely trust the Germans more than the Chinese (and I am Chinese, LOL) to come out with a good product.

Good price, light weight at 825 gr for a 150wh. My friend has been communicating with them and they respond quickly, so seems like good CS, reasonable shipping (lot cheaper than GMP) and the dual charger (Euro 250) are pretty reasonable as well.

Here’s a link to their 150wh

http://www.bebob.de/Batteries-and-chargers/V-Mount/batteries/V150.html

Quick specs

E345 Euro
150wh
Max Load 10 A
Weight 825 gr (This is pretty light for a 150wh)
94mm x 144mm x 58mm

But I can’t find any reviews or user experiences. So anyone on here deal with Bebob?

Can't speak for the batteries. But we have their Vlock plates on our Alexa Mini, most solid vlock plate I have ever seen. Very impressed with the level of finishing.

We've been rocking three 95wh Bebob v-lock batteries since 2012, first on Sony F3 and now on Epic Dragon and still going strong. They use really good quality plastics on the casings and the batteries can also be sent for re celling. Also the "twist d-tap" is a really great feature which means that you can plug in your accessories power cables from both directions. Our batteries are the older generation and have slightly taller form factor but this new lower and chunkier form factor looks awesome and would definitely be a better match for the Epics form factor. I'm also very interested in getting couple of these new 150wh batteries, post some pics with these on your Red if you end up getting them please. We also have one of those Bebob dual chargers and it has been working flawlessly although it looks like a re branded generic charger. But yes would definitely recommend the brand.

Hi
I can also recommend them. They are very powerful and have a very robust Casing.
We have 2 (+ some RED Bricks) and 2 or 3 can almost bring us through a typical day.
Also the Company is very responsive.

Thanks guys, that's some high praise. I figure generally anything German made is golden.

Quick question.

On the white V-150 Bebob's, the Max output is listed at 7A. This should be more than enough to power the Scarlet-W, correct?

Edit:
Correct my math if it's wrong, but 7A x 14.4V = 100.8 Max Watt Output. Does this sound right? So if the Scarlet-W which might need 60-70 watts to run, I should be covered correct?

That would be correct and 7A max load on these batteries is well enough for running a Scarlet-W and some accessories.

I bought 4 of the bebop rouge when they first came out and all failed. They can only be recalled in germany so I never bothered with them.

Hi Shane, when you said they "Failed," does this mean they never worked from the start? Or did they stop working after using them for a while?

Two of them stopped pretty soon after I bought them. I was able to replace those. The replacements and the others lasted maybe for 2 years. The red batteries on the other hand that I bought back in 2008/9?, I still use 3 out of the 4 that I bought.
I'm pretty sure that it's a internal circuit board failure as the contacts look fine.

I´ve got the blue 160s and the PV-EPIC, couldn´t be happier. Also second their excellent response and seem to care much about their customers, not sure of everything made in Germany is golden though ;-)

Cheers, Ulf
