Blog Write-Up: http://lawndartdesign.com/blog/2014/5/21/the-cinematic-corporate
We just completed production on a 40 year anniversary video for the Redmond, WA based BE Meyers & Company. BE Meyers has been producing warfighter solutions such as infrared designators, and night vision, for nearly half a century.
We were honored to get the chance to pitch creative, plan, execute, and finish, an incredibly challenging but rewarding project that helped tell their story. Filmed over the course of 4 days, ranging from factory and interviews, to HMMWVs, and on the side of a 4500' tall mountain in freezing winds. Our goal was to elevate the corporate video beyond pure function, but make something visually exciting at the same time.
It was also a great chance to work together with fellow red-user members: Co-Directed Shawn Nelson, and DOP'd by Domenic Barbero.
Shot on RED Epic MX (as many as 3 were being utilized with the vehicles), and ARRI ZEISS Ultra Primes.
Enjoy!
