  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

There's a picture in the article showing a cameraman using a RED. I'm unaware of the full scope of the trail, but it's interesting to see that the red is being used instead of (from what i can tell), Panasonic or Sony kit. I'm guessing the broadcast module is beginning to get into the right hands, plus, it's got the advantage of HFR. I'd be keen to know what they're doing about colour space and if they've got a desk of OCP's in a racks room. Or just any live production work-flow info would be great :)

That cameraman is using a Sony F55, not RED... The sony spits out a 4K signal over SDI which is what it looks like they are using. They are probably dual recording to the internal 4K XAVC codec as well.
