  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Is there a way to attach the battery without having the the hard drive caddy ?

You can also use the RED QuickPlate to attach the battery directly to the RED ONE. Thumbnail is available at:

For some reason the photo isn't showing up on the Product Detail page. That will be fixed this evening.
 
The Quick Plate wasn't available when I was at RED.

I use the Belt Clip clipped onto the Universal mount which once backed up to the camera on the rods is petty solid and will not go anywhere.

The Belt Clip can also be put in a backpack as the power lead is around 2 meters. I shot like this on the weekend with a super scaled down system.. pretty cool.
 
to attach the batteryplate on the top of the body, you need the quickplate adaptor and another universal mount. asfaik
