I have a RED brick that will not take a charge. It is completely dead. Any suggestions?

Two options - write them off or hand carry the dead ones back to Red and see if they can do anything about them. I collect all the dead ones and hand carry them to Red whenever I fly over. Hopefully there is a third option

Why hand carry?

Red will not accept them couriered -http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?t=27139

and some other threads that Brent posted.

You can contact Tony Lorentzen or Zakaree Sandberg. Maybe they can help

Well, what I read of that thread didn't say that RED will not accept couriered RED batteries...

It said that, due to new Federal regulations, they require the batteries to be properly posted as a Class 9 Dangerous Good.

So, basically, federal government has made shipping more complex in the name of keeping us all from getting blown up by batteries.

And RED is requiring packages shipped to them to be shipped in keeping with those regulations. Don't comply with the regulations, and RED can't help.

I had that with a couple of them. Check the contacts carefully. Mine had "fried", the black plastic around the tiny brass cylinders had melted and got in the way, preventing the contact with the charger pins. I used a cutter and cleared the plastic until I could see clearly the cylinders. Once back on the charger with a good frank push, they started to charge again.
