Hi guys,

Never used a v lock before, just curious if RED bricks for example have the same fitment on a RED v lock battery plate as a blue shape or IDX for instance?

Are they all interchangeable?

Planning to grab my Scarlet w and a red v lock plate, but choosing some 3rd parties like names above etc, will there be fitment issues?

Thanks
Lewis

The RED DSMC2 V-lock battery mount module and the DSMC battery belt clip have different V-lock mounts. In my experience Blueshape BV090 batteries fit securely on the belt clip v-mount and engage the safety release lever on the mount plate, but they do not fully engage the safety release lever on the DSMC2 v-lock battery mount module -- it's not a secure fit. However, the DSMC2 V-lock battery mount does have a secure fit wth the new 90 - 140 Wh Blueshape mini-batteries and similar PAG batteries although the fit is tight. Before buying any third party batteries it seems advisable to check first with the battery manufacturer that a secure fit can be had with the module or expander of choice.

Thanks for the reply, to be honest was looking at those Rolux batteries, seemingly fit on DSMC2 according to posts on here some time ago and also work like a absolute charm for a fraction of the cost.
