Hi

I mentioned a problem about the use of v mount batteries and redlink.
I came up with a solution like this. Even if it is not safe as aluminum it is holding really well. (Material is something called Poliamid, i think it is same thing with Nylon)
I modeled it and 3d printed in a 3dprint house. If anybody is interested and wants to print their own part, i can share the stl file.

best regards
Hurcan

That's amazing! We currently have our battery mounted on rails but have a wooden camera - on camera solution on order for a small body set-up and this looks awesome!

I imagine people would be more comfy with an aluminum soltution to hold it up. Do you also have anything on the bottom supporting it for added stability ?

Would this be something you might consider selling (I dont have a 3d printer)?

Jonny

Thanks. There is no support at the bottom. it might be a little bit expensive if i sell it since 3d technology is not very cummon here. it will probably cost100$+shipment. if anyone wants it i can glady supply it since the model is working. But as i mentioned before there might be cheaper solutions.

thought about this before since we want to keep redmotes on dock, better spend 100$ something aluminum.produced many stuff with 3D printer (clip on rings, donut etc.) quality is so bad and costs almost same with original one.

Kemalettin which material did you use? I know abs and pla are not usable for this kind of operation but have you ever used Poliamid? Eitherway of course aluminium is much better choice. But i would like to know your experience on Poliamid to save time and money.

And here are the images that shows the bottom part and paralinx holder. By the way Paralinx was the most clever purchase i made as a DSMC accessorie thanks to Dan Kanes. Beside its own purpose, it saved many shoots when cables of crane and steadycams fail.
