I looked but didn't find anything about this, so sorry if this is a repost. If it is and someone knows the thread, please just reply with the link.

So, I have a RED brick that is not charging. I have been trying for several days, on both chargers that I have. It only flashes Red and Green and gets no charge. I have not put it on the camera yet, but it has stayed at 1 LED bar the whole time since the last time I took it off the camera. And it was charging and using fine until now. Anything? Does RED cover problems with the Bricks? Also, will RED be releasing newer, better chargers anytime? I hate coming back after charging overnight to find that 3 of my 4 charging batteries are RED lit and no charge.

BTW, I looked for this too, I've seen it before, but now can't find it. I want a chart of the LED Readings/Meaning on the RED chargers. Anybody have a link or .pdf?

Thanks

I have a charger that is no longer cooperating and a battery that just doesn´t want to charge anymore...

Standard Warranty for Batteries is ninety (90) days or charge cycles of less than 400, whichever comes first. So, if the BRICK is still under warranty, please send it in for eval and we will repair/replace, as needed.

Thanks, BC

And, yes, all CHARGERS will be evaluated and updated to current gen hardware/firmware specs during RED Upgrade Program.

Well, I know my battery is under 400 charge cycles, but past ninety days. It does not charge, and the charger only flashes red and green alternately. What do I do with my $450 battery?

I've seen this before. Try forcing the battery into the charger fairly violently and holding it firmly in place. This means the battery is not recognized by the charger probably because the far left socket in the battery has sunk slightly so isn't making full contact.

You can hold it in place and get it right and it will charge, although it is awkward.

Tanner, if you want to send in the CHARGER and the BRICK, I will be more than happy to eval. If it is a defective part, we will replace/repair, as needed.

Hmmm...less than 400 cycles. What are we looking at in terms of yearly basis say 12 hours/day shoot ?

Almost 9 monhs, it´s only one of four batteries.

When I put it on the carger, the charger flashes yellow for about a minute, then illuminates RED and does not charge...

I put just one empty battery on the no 2 slot, and it did not charge, until I moved it to no 1 slot on the charger.
