I was wondering about scarlets battery life out of the box. I imagine that it wont be much considering it has to power a 4.3 (correct?) inch screen, massive data transfers to CF cards and a 2/3 CMOS. I'm sure there will be an extended battery, but for out of the box purposes, what do you guys expect?

I assume that you're able to buy a few batteries? I don't think it's good to have an internal fixed battery...
Point is, everything that degrades over time should be something we could buy and change ourselves (if not a delicate internal thing).

Is it certain that Scarlet will have an internal Battery ? I hope not ...

In keeping with RED tradition it'd be nice if the removable battery was a consumer type that you could pick up for £30 from your local camera store (something like the batts on the Canon EOS stills cameras for example - these are what is used in the Phantom Miro high speed cameras).
