Battery belt clip with dsmc2?

This may be a really dumb question. For power I currently only have a WC Blue shape v lock module, but I need to run the camera on a gimbal. Is my most affordable option a battery clip plus base expander? Or is there something more affordable out there?

I'm waiting for others to answer this too.. Do you think the Jetpack Expander is good for gimbals? Some said the cable of the battery belt is too stiff and interferes with the gimbal motor. Is that true?

I have a XLR power cable and it is quite stiff. If you want to go that route you can find more flexible Lemo power cables on ebay or amazon.

jetpack expander and belt clip would be much cheaper than the base expander and belt clip.

I'm looking for something like the battery belt clip but one that is rod-mountable - I want to be able to separate and offset a v-mount on a shoulder rig for balance. I've seen this done but not sure what parts I need..?
