is there any truth to this rumour i have heard, that, the "MAN OF STEEL" sequel featuring Ben affleck as "BATMAN", directed by Zack Snyder will be shot on Dragons. It will begin production in detroit sometime in february.......

Please reply......

It is going to be a very very tall order trying to top Nolan's Batman trilogy. These three films are superb in every aspect and I don't just say that because I'm a Nolan fan. Man of Steel for me was a huge disappointment. If it has to be done, let it be done on Dragon.

Well, it does begin production in february, the release date has been delayed but the production won't be. the main cause of the delay was the post production process keeping in mind the extremely complex visual nature of the story....

According to this, production has been pushed to the 2nd quarter of this year.

Wait where did this rumor come from? I have not read anything about it.

Actually production has already begun.... henry cavil is already there

Jesee eisenberg has been cast as Lex Luthor and Jeremy Irons have been cast as Alfed Pennyworth..

DP Larry Fong has traditionally shot film, (Super 8, Watchmen, The 300), so it'll be interesting to see if he chooses to shoot digital or not. With a $200 million movie, I think you can pretty much shoot on anything you want without limitation.

For what I know, doubt that. Snyder (and cinematographer Larry Fong) love to shoot film, I don't see why would they choose digital over celluloid anytime soon with studio budgets and all, unless they're forced to do native 3D. Those guys are the diehards, after all. Then again, Dragons are used among 35mm, Epics and IMAX cameras on set of the new Transformers, anything could happen.

Hello Bobby,
I don't want to argue if MOS is bad or good, but Nolan co-wrote the story anyway :)

Man of Steel

David S. Goyer ... (screenplay)

David S. Goyer ... (story) &
Christopher Nolan ... (story)

Jerry Siegel ... (Superman created by) &
Joe Shuster ... (Superman created by)

Doubt it. Just worked with a video assist that did screen tests.. all 35mm

I am aware of all of that. To me, it has always been the magic touch of the director that makes all the difference in the world. The story of MOS and the acting for that matter was very good but somehow the film as a whole did not come together for me.
Just my humble opinion.
