I am having a lot of trouble figuring out the BatchExpress script. Apologies for the longwinded post, but I figure this takes some explaining.

Firstly, as far as I can tell, I should have that nice, simple graphic interface when I attempt to run the script through the start menu, but instead I get a small window called Window Script Host with only an OK button and the text "Please entry the path to work on." No place to enter any data, unfortunately, and hitting OK merely closes the window.

So instead I'm attempting to figure the command shell code, and frankly, I can't easily make much sense out of the example given on the workflow page: http://www.cineform.com/products/TechNotes/RedOneWorkflow.htm

Seems simple enough. Change the directory to the location of the .vbs file; Enter the name of the script you wish to use, then the location folder of the source files to be converted, then the folder you wish to place the converted files in, from my understanding.

Here's the script I'm trying now:

C:\Program Files (x86)\CineForm\Tools\Scripts>BatchExpress.vbs D:\R3D\BatchTestR3d D:\R3d\BatchTestR3d

So, tl;dr Can someone please tell me how to either correct the graphic interface of the script window, or tell me what the command shell script is missing? Thanks very much in advance.

Do as the command suggests, enter the path of your R3D files eg: D:media/footage/RDM.

Do as the command suggests, enter the path of your R3D files eg: D:media/footage/RDM.

Sorry for being dense, but where? If you mean in the script window, then I can't because it never gives me a field to enter the source path.
If you mean the command shell, then aren't I already denoting that in the script I have?

C:\Program Files (x86)\CineForm\Tools\Scripts>BatchExpress.vbs D:\R3D\BatchTestR3d D:\R3d\BatchTestR3d

The path where my R3D files are located is the portion D:\R3D\BatchTestR3d.

If it helps any, when I ran my script above, I get the following message:
r2cf "D:\R3D\BatchTestR3d\Clip01.R3D"
"D:\R3D\BatchTestR3d/express/Clip01.avi" -q2 -p3 -y -w1024

And it produces the mentioned "express" folder. This all seems like it should be working, but the process ends with that.

Re-read you post it could be something else, as your scripts do show up in the start menu, which means they should be GUI enabled. Are you saying the even directly using R2CF doesn't work either? If you open Start->Programs->CineForm->tools->R2CF.. then type

R2CF D:\R3D\BatchTestR3d\Clip01.R3D D:\R3D\BatchTestR3d\Clip01.avi -p3

Does this work?

Which OS are you running?
