So, I have got a time line full of 5D footage that I will be splicing in some RED footage in with for a little bit of B-Roll.
The question that I have is if I just drop the low res or medium res proxy in the timeline with the rest of my footage and render it, in the timeline, as whatever current codec that I am using, will it reference the original R3D file for maximum quality when I am exporting the project from Final Cut Pro?
or, will I have to convert to ProRes for it to export at the highest quality possible?
