1. I noticed there is a USB port on the unit, does this port act as a power output? If so is it 5v or 12v?

2. Does anyone know the exact dimensions of the Vlock portion of the expander? the area on the right between the Vlock channel and the lip where the inputs/outputs begin seem to be a problem in terms of what batteries are going to fit, if we had an exact dimension (confirmed) it would be much easier to purchase batteries. (Don't know if this info is already out there I just haven't seen it)

Thanks.

Brent said 100.6mm max battery width in another post. USB power needs to be 5v, I'm sure Red conforms to that.

The maximum width can be 100.6mm as long as the bottom edges have AT LEAST a 9.70mm radius. Any larger width or smaller radius will not engage properly as it will bump against the I/O portion of the module.
That's what Brent said.
