Does anyone have photos of the Base I/O as well as the Pro I/O? I want to see what the differences are in a side by side comparison. I want to know which connectors are available on the base unit for the most part. I know that the pro I/O is going to be out of my budget.

I am hoping that the base unit will have the 2 xlr inputs, reddrive output, sync output, as well as a bnc video connection. Anything extra would be nice. :cheers2:

Thanks for the link, and yes I do realize the reddrive is a seperate module. But I was referencing connecting a reddrive to the camera by the reddrive cable. I don't see how it would be possible without one of the I/O modules.

The I/O modules don't have Red Drive outputs. You will need a separate module with a Red Drive output.

Many will want to switch over to the new 1.8" SSD recording media to take advantage of the higher framerates and lower compression. That is probably why a Red Drive output isn't included in the I/O modules.
