How did I change my opinion when I've always said DSLR's are better for stills? We argued about RED vs DSLR for stills here in the first place.

Seems like you agreed on all points that I made where DSLR's are better for stills.

So it must be better autofocus than what you find in DSLR's since it's enhanced... or not. I haven't seen any proof that EPIC or Scarlet comes even close to the speed an accuracy of DSLR autofocus.

I rather take better image, faster and easier workflow, better handling, lighter weight, better autofocus, better battery runtime, better lighting options and so on vs faster fps.

Not sure if I understand what you are after, but I'm pretty sure strobes and flashes work better with DSLR's than with EPIC or Scarlet.

Maybe not better, but definitely adequate (for stills, anyway)... Although it's worth noting that Toia's video is 9 months old, so it's probably slower than the new 'Enhanced Autofocus' of build 4... and it's supposedly shot with a slow Canon L 85 f1.2...

Josh's DSLR will do that better than any RED ever could.

I do not know Josh personally but sometimes he has value in what he says. And I believe that RED would appreciate constructive thoughts about their products instead of only reading ass-licking comments on how good they are. This "fanboy" attitude is not helping anyone. I come to this forum to learn and maybe get help, rather than to hate on someone who maybe knows less. We all start from somewhere. Merry Christmas.

And when opinions purport something as fact that isn't, they are actually UN-helpful. I agree, this BS thread is worthless. The tone from a few of these guys across this board is definitely one of endlessly bashing RED, itʻs products and REDUsers in general.
I mean, seriously, this is REDUser, weʻre "fanboys" and "ass lickers" cause we think RED cameras work well and we like the free updates that deliver exactly what was promised?

Well, okay, because I can tell you that one of many reasons I actually ordered a RED camera is because of this forum. You can always get help here and that is something that cannot be found on many camera forums.
