  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

On a recent shoot I got 3 contiguous bad frames on an R3D file. Anyone ever see this? Not sure if we had a record error or not, it was reported later. Any clues?
Shooting 2K, build 20.1.3, 23.98.

yes i have had this quite a few times, often happens at the beginning at 2K & 3K, never seen it at 4K and often once the camera as been switch off for a while. what are you using drives or cards?

I seen this problem being posted on the forum several times with no real answer for it. but the footage can be used and it renders fine.

But I would like to know what causes it.

I too, would like to know as I have experienced a similar thing for just three frames, and only the one time several months ago. No answer for me either
