  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Backorder Update...

Everything is currently shipping except the Pro Battery Module and the BackPack system.. so if you have an order in before today that is in Backorder, below is your worst case ( unless something changes )

REDMOTE - Clear current backorder mid- November.

DSMC Side Handle - Clear backorder in 2 weeks.

REDVOLT - Clear Backorder in 4 days.

DSMC Ti Canon Mount - First week orders will be delivered between now and the next 2 weeks. Clear Backorder by mid November.

EVF - Clear current backorder mid- November.

BACKPACK SYSTEM - Clear Backorder Late November

Pro Battery Module - Available Late October

RED ROCKET - Clear Backorder tomorrow.

too bad that it sounds like Nov 3 is going to set you crazy F$#@ers back another couple years! :)
 
Argh... OK. I was hoping for sooner than that. It seems like a relatively simple upgrade from the standard QR base plate. Why such a long lead time? I ordered in August. Just curious....

That aside, great progress on everything else. Much appreciated! Definitely feels like things are ramping up :)

Thanks!!! I'm dying to know when I can get my Redmote. As EpicX #27, any idea when that would be? How many are in front of me?

Also, any word on a vmount plate and battery belt plate with native 1B connectors? That'd be bitchin, I've held off on necessary purchases awaiting those.

We only have a certain number of machines... it is simply a matter of priority.
 
Jarred- What about the Laser Projector I ordered 3 weeks ago? I need/want 1000 small venue versions. How long will that take?

Scarlet is awesome and all... but THIS is the item you better make 1,000 to 5,000 a quarter of before you even DREAM of announcing imho.

Especially if they are under the $25K Sony 4K projector ;)
 
The old Back order blues.... :(

Only real issue with back orders is the broken up freight costs... 50 dollar part cost 69 dollars to freight.. you have 5 things in back order... it all starts adding up.

O well. Thats life in the big city of demand and supply...

EPIC X - 27.....
wow... still no red mote.

Thats a worry.

Im about to get my X... so that means my REDMOTE could be months away :(
 
It's great that you have set clear dates for when stuff will be out of back order.

It's way worst guessing, having no idea, or having users steadying threads trying to figure stuff out only you guys know.

So while the word backorder can be a pain, having a date is excellent to know.

Just please tell me that Redvolts in the quad charger will charge faster than on the travel charger... Anyway, can't wait to get the new charger, a few of them.
