  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Backorder Update - November 8

Hopefully they're too busy counting the number of units that just arrived from their suppliers.
 
Are they shipping the side handles out of order? I'm seeing people who ordered after me getting their emails? I ordered it at the end of October and no email here

Thanks, hard to wade through all the postings here, probably be 8 pm our time or 9...hopefully wonderful news and everything is moving forward with orders and Stages.

Hopefully Jarred will post a NEW thread update Jan. 2012 update so we don't have to sift through more pages of this one.

Well I think that's the big update that everyone was trying to guess...I think Jarred might come out with a minor update regarding the backorders, but I think the Stage 3 is the "big news" that people were going to be happy about. Obviously I'm still crossing my fingers something else is brewing.

Nice for all of those people waiting for their Epic, but I'm sure there are still those people on here you want an update on Scarlet and accessory backorders. Congrats to all of the stage 3 people, though!
 
I really hope there is more to today's update, even if it is Scarlets arriving in 6 months....it would just be good to know.

Casey, from my understanding, the dual module is smaller by having only space for one Redvolt per side. Since an XL is the size of two Redvolts, I reckon XL's won't work on the dual module. I do hope I am wrong however.
 
Perhaps I'm thinking of 90 minute REDVolts vs the 20-30 minutes ones now available. Wasn't there a plan for a longer lasting same size REDVolt? Either way, love to get some estimates on these items...

This has been addressed many, many times. Your assumption is correct from the last available information we have: the XLs are twice the width (and some added depth) of the standard Redvolts. If they ever come into production, they couldn't possibly work in a dual battery module that is standard-width. You'd need the Quad module (which takes 2 batteries on each side) to accommodate the larger size of the XLs.
 
We're coming up to the 12th week now since I placed the order for the Scarlet. Eighth (?) week since it start shipping.
