  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I've had 4 bomb squad reps in the past 4 months. Most of them have been great, but it's clear that there are some growing pains. I have every confidence that once Red gets scaled up, it will run very smoothly. Because their priorities are generally in the right places.
 
power pack seems to be on backorder now (i havent checked in a bit), but individual items are instock. can anyone comment on this? is this going to be a long wait? i want to plan my power options, thanks!

I ordered a power pack when it said they were in stock Nov 19th. I was notified 2 days after ordering my information was being passed to shipping. It took until Dec 6 for it to ship. Just got to my house yesterday. I'm not so sure that it's out of stock, or backordered but rather shipping is just overwhelmed right now.
 
What's going on with the Canon aluminum mount?

Same here. The announcement for those possible delays came a half hour after orders had begun. Hundreds, if not thousands, of orders had already been placed due to the website shutdown. Given the chance, many of us would have switched to PL mount and paid the difference.

It's like getting an excellent spot in one of three long lines at the supermarket. Once it becomes too late to reasonably change lines, your clerk goes on an indefinite smoke break while the other lines begin to flow normally.

However, in this analogy, both Canon clerks have gone out back to smoke a giant doobie while the PL clerk presses for employee of the month. :banghead:
 
The saddest part of this to me is I shot a fashion editorial of Julianne Moore yesterday on a borrowed Red One MX. Imagine if I could have de-virginized my Scarlet with that?!
 
Bomb EVF finally arrived today! Approximately 2 months after my order was placed.

Might give you guys an idea of the general wait time of the backordered items.

Martin - my BOMB took 10 months! So they are getting product out the door now.....now if only my Scarlet will appear...
